Stock art, clip art, and photographs

Any digital images, stock photographs, clip art, or other artistic work (collectively "images") delivered with any Digeus product may be used in accordance with the rights set out in the License Agreement that ships with that Digeus product. If your intended use falls within the terms of the License Agreement or other product documentation, further written permission is not required.

Please note that images contained on Digeus product boxes may not be used except as provided in the guidelines for box shots (see below).

Any use of images delivered with an Digeus product and not provided for in the License Agreement, requires written permission from Digeus. In some instances, images included in the Digeus products may be owned by a third party and licensed under terms different than those contained in the Digeus License Agreement. If you are seeking to use third-party images or content, please contact the copyright owner directly for permission. It is unlikely that Digeus will be able to grant permission beyond that contained in the License Agreement due to contractual restrictions, third-party rights, and other intellectual property restraints.

If you are still interested in requesting special permission for an Digeus image, please submit your request to Digeus' Support Center. Please allow two weeks for your request to be processed.

Under no circumstances will Digeus license the reproduction, distribution, or modification of any third-party images displayed on Digeus.com.

Box shots

Digeus product box shots are complete images of Digeus product boxes. You may not use Digeus box shots on third-party software packaging, but you may use box shots without Digeus's written permission in advertising, on documentation (including educational brochures), in tutorial books, in videotapes or on Web sites, provided you adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Your use may not be obscene or pornographic, and may not be disparaging, defamatory, or libelous to Digeus, any of its products, or any other person or entity.
  2. Your use may not directly or indirectly imply Digeus sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of your product or service.
  3. You may not use the box shot in a comparative advertisement.
  4. You may not use any of Digeus's box shots as a link to your Web site. See linking to Digeus's Web site for proper linking guidelines.
  5. You may not alter the box shot in any way except to resize the entire box shot. Your use must contain the entire box shot. Any images contained within the box cannot be used independently of the entire box shot.
  6. The box shot is not the most prominent visual element on the material where the box shot is displayed. Your company name and logo, your product, and/or your graphics should be significantly larger than the box shot.
  7. You must include the following copyright attribution statement: "Digeus product box shot(s) reprinted with permission from Digeus Incorporated."
  8. If your use includes references to an Digeus product, the full name of the product must be referenced at the first and most prominent mention (Digeus® SnapIt®). When referencing any Digeus trademarks, please mark with a ? or ® as indicated in the Digeus trademark database for general distribution.
  9. If your use includes references to any Digeus trademarks, you should include the following trademark attribution statement: "[List of marks used, with "Digeus" first, if used, followed by other Digeus marks used, in alphabetical order] are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Digeus Incorporated in the United States and/or other countries."

If your use meets the above criteria, no further written permission is required. For use by the press in articles or other news reports, please go to the Digeus Press Room. All other uses require written permission from Digeus, including use of box shots in or on a television program, movie, or commercial. Please visit Digeus' Support Center.

Screen shots

You may use screen shots in advertising, on documentation (including educational brochures), in tutorial books, in videotapes, or on Web sites, provided you adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Your use may not be obscene or pornographic, and may not be disparaging, defamatory, or libelous to Digeus, any of its products, or any other person or entity.
  2. Your use may not directly or indirectly imply Digeus sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of your product or service.
  3. You may not use the screen shot in a comparative advertisement.
  4. You may not alter the screen shot in any way except to resize the screen shot. Your use must contain the entire screen shot. You may not use portions of the screen shots and no portions of a screen shot may be included in your product user interface.
  5. You may not use screen shots from Digeus beta products or other products that have not been commercially released by Digeus.
  6. You may not use screen shots that contain third-party content.
  7. You must include the following copyright attribution statement: "Digeus product screen shot(s) reprinted with permission from Digeus Corporation."
  8. If your use includes references to an Digeus product, the full name of the product must be referenced at the first and most prominent mention (Digeus® SnapIt®).
  9. If your use includes references to any Digeus trademarks, you should include the following trademark attribution statement: "[List of marks used, with "Digeus" first, if used, followed by other Digeus marks used, in alphabetical order] are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Digeus in the United States and/or other countries."
  10. Screen shots must be reproduced in their entirety. Permission may be given in certain limited circumstances, however, to use specific portions of a screen shot. For permission to use a screen shot in this manner, please submit your request using Digeus' Support Center form.

If your use meets the above criteria, no further written permission is required. For use by the press in articles or other news reports, please go to the Digeus Press Room. All other uses require written permission from Digeus, including use of screen shots in or on a television program, movie, or commercial. If further written permission is required, please submit your requestto Digeus' Support Center. Please allow two weeks for your request to be processed.

Please note that Digeus cannot give permission for use of any third-party content (artwork) that may be contained within an Digeus screen shot.

Use of Digeus product user guides

Digeus does not object to your use of Digeus product user guides for educational purposes, provided the following guidelines are adhered to:

  1. Your use may not be obscene or pornographic, and may not be disparaging, defamatory, or libelous to Digeus, any of its products, or any other person or entity.
  2. Your use may not directly or indirectly imply Digeus sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of your product or service.
  3. You may not alter the Digeus product user guide or any material contained therein in any way.

If your use meets the above criteria, no further written permission is required. All other use of instructional materials requires written permission. Please submit your request to Digeus' Support Center.. Please allow two weeks for your request to be processed.
